Alamire, QuintEssential (sackbuts and cornetts) and Andrew Lawrence-King (gothic harp)

Cambridge Early Music is proud to be associated, in collaboration with Trinity College, with this very special concert held in the Chapel of the College founded by Henry VIII. The music, from a Royal Choirbook of 1516 (London British Library MS Roy.11.e.xi), includes songs by Henry VIII and the tribute motets by Robert Fayrfax, Philippe Verdelot, and John Taverner, sung by Alamire, directed by David Skinner, with music for the sackbuts and cornetts of QuintEssential, directed by Richard Thomas, and for gothic harp.
NB this concert is not included in CEM season tickets.
